Occasion
Romance, without the cliché
Roses, yes — but opened, gardened and arranged like something you would actually keep.
Red roses have a problem: they are so loaded with meaning that people stop looking at them. We still sell them, because sometimes the meaning is the point. But we buy garden roses rather than the long-stemmed florist rose, open them at the bench, and mix in a little burgundy ranunculus so the red has depth instead of glare.
If you want the gesture without the shorthand, the better choice is the Rose Atelier in its antique pink, or the Pastel Hour in peony season. Both read as romantic without announcing themselves. We will tell you which one is stronger the week you order, because it depends on the market.
Anniversaries are predictable — we can plan ahead and buy to a color. Proposals are not, and we treat them differently: a single bouquet delivered to a location at a specific time, a backup in the cooler, and a phone number that a florist actually answers.
Practical
Things worth knowing
The details that decide whether the flowers arrive at the right moment, in the right room.
Red, honestly
True red is the one color we cannot always guarantee. If it must be red, order five days ahead and we will buy to it.
The card
Say the thing. We have written “will you marry me” on a card more than once, and we have never spoiled it.
Timing
For a restaurant, send the bouquet one hour before the reservation and ask the host to hold it. We will coordinate directly if you prefer.
Delivery
Same-day in the city by 2pm. For proposals and anniversaries, book a timed slot — we hold the bouquet in the cooler until the minute you asked for.
