The reason changes the flowers

A birthday and a funeral are not the same bouquet in different colors. Palette, shape, scent and timing all move — and so does what we write on the card.

If you are not sure

Send the Market Seasonal in a soft palette. It is the bouquet we use when we do not know the room, and it is almost impossible to misread. Tell us the relationship and the timing and we will adjust the palette.

What every order includes

Hand-tying, kraft wrap, a care card and a hand-written card in ink. Delivery in the city is quoted by ZIP and shown before you pay. There is no vase unless you ask for one, no branded ribbon, and no insert marketing anything.

If the timing is tight

Call the studio rather than using a form. Same-day is possible until 2pm ET in the city; funerals and hospital deliveries usually need a phone call to get the window right.

Timing, by occasion

Birthdays: on the day, morning for an office. Sympathy: before the service, never after. Romance: before the reservation. New baby: the second week, when the house is quiet again.

What the card should say

Short, specific, in your own words. We write it by hand in ink and add nothing you did not ask for. If you are stuck, tell us the relationship and we will suggest two or three lines — the choice is still yours.

The Friday note

What came in, what is nearly gone.

A short letter every other Friday from the studio bench: what the market had, which flowers are peaking, and what we are making with them.
