Tulip Post
A pure posting of yellow tulips, wrapped like a parcel.
No online checkout — your order list becomes an enquiry, and a florist confirms flowers, price and delivery window in person.
What's in it
- fifty-stem yellow tulips
- pussy willow
Wrap, ribbon and a hand-written card included. Contents follow the week's market — we confirm the final list before tying.
Caring for it
Bulb flowers drink from the bottom inch of the stem; we cut them under water.
Bulb flowers drink from the bottom inch. Recut under running water and keep the vase deep for the first day.
Tulips keep growing in the vase — expect 3cm of new stem in the first two days. That is the charm, not a fault.
Narcissi release sap that shortens other stems. Condition them separately for a few hours if you rearrange.
Pet note. No lilies in this bouquet. We still keep bouquets out of reach of pets who chew — ask the bench for a fully pet-safe build if yours is a chewer.
Getting it there
Hand-tied at the bench, wrapped in the collection's paper, and delivered by our own van in New York same day when you order by 2pm ET. Nationwide, it travels next-day in a fitted box, stems in water pods, and never sits in a depot overnight.
Pair it with
A clear glass vase so the bulb stems show; they are half the charm. Pairs with a bright windowsill and, honestly, Easter.
When to send it. No-reason sends are our favourite and ship the next market day.
Good to know
Tulip Post runs Petite, Classic and Grand at $46, $68 and $108; the ladder buys stems, wrap and the hand-written card, and the difference between sizes is stem count, not flower grade. If the market runs short of fifty-stem yellow tulips that week, we name the substitute before tying and you can say no — we never swap quietly. Colour in life sits a shade warmer than on a screen; screens lie cool.
The cheapest joy we sell, and among the best.
