Olive Standard
One olive tree in terracotta — the room instantly looks decided.
No online checkout — your order list becomes an enquiry, and a florist confirms flowers, price and delivery window in person.
What's in it
- a potted olive tree
- terracotta pot
Wrap, ribbon and a hand-written card included. Contents follow the week's market — we confirm the final list before tying.
Caring for it
Potted plants travel in fitted collars so the soil does not shift in the van.
Water when the top inch of soil is dry, not on a schedule. Overwatering is how potted plants die indoors.
Each plant ships with its light preference on the care card. Ferns want shade; the olive wants your brightest window.
Feed from the second month, at half the label strength, once a month between spring and autumn.
Pet note. No lilies in this bouquet. We still keep bouquets out of reach of pets who chew — ask the bench for a fully pet-safe build if yours is a chewer.
Getting it there
Hand-tied at the bench, wrapped in the collection's paper, and delivered by our own van in New York same day when you order by 2pm ET. Nationwide, it travels next-day in a fitted box, stems in water pods, and never sits in a depot overnight.
Pair it with
Pots are included, but a saucer and a small watering can are the honest add-ons. Pairs with the desk you keep meaning to tidy.
When to send it. Housewarming deliveries can wait at the door — give us the new tenants' name in the enquiry.
Good to know
Olive Standard runs Small pot, Medium pot and Statement pot at $38, $64 and $120; the ladder buys stems, wrap and the hand-written card, and the difference between sizes is stem count, not flower grade. If the market runs short of a potted olive tree that week, we name the substitute before tying and you can say no — we never swap quietly. Colour in life sits a shade warmer than on a screen; screens lie cool.
The plant equivalent of good lighting.
